# Supplier overview

As a supplier, you receive only briefs that fit your property, and you respond where the conversation already lives. There is no list to buy, no cold outreach, and no spam to filter. A person on the MeetingWorks team checks every request before it reaches you, so each lead is worth a reply.

## Where to go

Your sidebar holds everything you need:

* **Leads.** Your landing page. The requests for proposals sent to the venues you manage, plus availability requests, your venue readiness, and how fast you answer.
* **Messages.** Every conversation with a planner, across all your venues.
* **Venue.** The published profile a planner sees for each venue you manage.
* **Membership.** Your subscription status and its commission relief.
* **Settings.** Your account, and what planners see about each venue and how you price it.

Subscribers also get **Market intelligence**, an anonymized read of where planner demand is concentrating.

## How a lead moves

    A[A person checks the brief] --> B[Lead lands in your leads list]
    B --> C[Availability request: confirm rooms and space]
    C --> D[Respond: quote rooms, space, and a rate,<br />or decline with a reason]
    D --> E{Planner awards one venue}
    E -->|You win| F[Countersign the contract]
    E -->|Another venue| G[Told it booked elsewhere]
```
1. A planner's brief is checked by a person, then sent to the venues it fits.
2. The lead lands in your leads list. Before an RFP is formally sent, you may first get an availability request asking you to confirm rooms and meeting space on the dates.
3. You respond: confirm or hold availability, quote guest rooms, meeting space, and a rate, or decline with a reason.
4. The planner compares proposals and awards one venue. If it is yours, you countersign the contract.
## What it costs
Receiving and answering briefs is free. When you win business through MeetingWorks, you pay a commission on the group's room revenue, billed after the event. Meeting space, food, and AV carry none. A subscription replaces the commission entirely. See [Subscription](/suppliers/subscription) for the details.
