Roles and access

The two customer roles in MeetingWorks, what each one sees, and how to get in.

MeetingWorks is available by invitation. Every account has a role, and the role decides which workspace you land in and what you can do.

The two roles

  • Planner. You source venues for your events. Your workspace centers on your meetings, starting an RFP, your shortlist, proposals, messages with venues, and your rewards wallet. Everything on the planner side is free.
  • Supplier. You manage one or more venues. Your workspace centers on your leads, the conversations with planners, your venue listing and pricing, your membership, and, for subscribers, market intelligence.

A planner never sees supplier-only screens, and a supplier never sees planner-only screens. The surface you reach after logging in matches your role.

What stays private

MeetingWorks hides a planner’s identity from a venue until the venue agrees terms or subscribes. A venue sees the brief, meaning what is being asked for, from the start. It sees who is asking only once it commits. This is why some leads show an undisclosed event name until that point.

Getting access

  • If you have an account, log in to reach your workspace.
  • If you do not, request access from the MeetingWorks site and the team will follow up. Access is granted per role, so let the team know whether you are a planner or a venue.

Signing in

Use the email address your account was created with. If a link in an email brought you to a page you cannot open, the link may be old or mistyped. Log in from the main site to find your meetings or leads, or ask whoever sent the link for a fresh one.

If you manage venues and cannot find yours in your workspace, use “Find your venue” to claim it, which is the step that makes leads possible.
