Subscription
A MeetingWorks membership is optional. Receiving and answering briefs is free either way, and nothing in your settings is gated behind a subscription. What a membership changes is how you pay for business you win.
Commission, or a subscription
There are two ways to pay for business won through MeetingWorks:
- Commission. With no membership, you pay a commission on the group’s room revenue on the contract, billed after the event. Meeting space, food, and AV carry none.
- Subscription. A membership replaces the commission entirely. While your membership is active, bookings you win through MeetingWorks earn no commission.
Your membership page
The Membership page shows your current status. If you have an active membership, it shows your tier, that bookings earn no commission while it is active, and whether your rate is locked. If you do not, it explains the founding offer and how to upgrade.
The founding offer
A founding subscription locks its price of $10,000 a year through December 31, 2031, on a schedule of a one-year term followed by two two-year renewals, with renewal decisions in July 2027 and July 2028. Signing between January and August 2027 means the founding price covers your first year. A founding subscription stops commission on the bookings you win.
Changing your membership
MeetingWorks does not offer self-serve checkout today. To upgrade, change, or cancel a membership, contact your MeetingWorks representative.
What subscribing means for planners
A booking with a subscribing venue earns the planner no rewards, because the subscription replaces the commission those rewards come from. Whether you subscribe never changes where your venue ranks on a planner’s shortlist.
