Rewards wallet
Planners pay nothing to use MeetingWorks, and booked business can earn you rewards. Your wallet shows what you have earned and what is on the way.
How rewards work
When a hotel pays its commission on business you booked through MeetingWorks, a reward is credited to your wallet. MeetingWorks keeps none of the commission. A reward usually credits 3 to 18 months after the stay, because that is when the hotel pays.
Your wallet separates two balances:
- Pending, meaning rewards tied to bookings whose commission has not been paid yet.
- Credited, meaning rewards you can redeem now.
A reward expires 24 months after it is credited, so redeem it before then. The clock starts per credit, on the day it lands.
Who is paid
By default, rewards are paid to your company, which keeps you clear of any gift-policy concern. You set and change the payee in Settings. Name your company there before you redeem.
Redeeming
Request a payout of your whole credited balance from the wallet. Depending on who the payee is, you can take it as:
- Account credit
- Bank transfer
- Gift card, if your company’s gift policy allows it
You can have one redemption request open at a time. If the redeem button is off, the wallet says why, usually because you have nothing credited yet or because your company is not named in Settings.
A note on subscribing hotels
A booking with a hotel that subscribes to MeetingWorks earns no rewards, because a subscription replaces the commission a reward would come from. Whether a hotel subscribes never changes where it ranks on your shortlist.
Earning history
The wallet lists your recent reward movements, newest first, showing what each one did to your pending and credited balances, and what earned it.
